Most of the May Concerts “Brush Up Your Shakespeare” will be set to Shakespeare’s own words but a few selections will be based on ideas by Himself. “Something’s Coming” and “This Can’t Be Love” are from musicals that refer to Shakespeare. Cole Porter’s irreverent “Brush Up Your Shakespeare” is from Kiss Me Kate.  So, if “Three Shakespeare Song” by Vaughan-Williams is not your cup of tea perhaps you’ll enjoy the lighter fare!
