Choral Music Swap

The JCC will host a unique event this coming summer. We are inviting choruses from around Southern New England to share choral music with each other. Choruses will be able to drop off and/or choose music from donated (used) choral material. The event will take place:

Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the Jamestown (RI) Recreation Center, 41 Conanicus Avenue, Jamestown, RI from 9AM-2PM

ADMISSION: Suggested $20 donation at the door to offset some of the cost of this choral music swap.

EVENT DETAILS: On the day of the event* you can drop off your gently used choral music such that other directors may share it with a new chorus AND….you are welcome to take with you any and all music you can carry for your ensemble!

*EARLY DROP OFF IS ENCOURAGED!

There are drop off -locations in Jamestown set up for your use prior to the event. If you have a ‘lot’ of choral music to share (a ‘lot’ refers to any amount more than a typical office file box) please call 401-787-4487 and we will make arrangements to accept your music prior to the July 15^th event.

Jamestown Recreation Center – 41 Conanicus Avenue

And, if you want to be wicked helpful, please organize it as sacred/secular, voicings and/or alphabetical by title!

We will not accept:

• Photocopies
• Seriously marked-up music
• Music cut up to fit into plastic sleeves
