The Everybody Chorus presented a concert on Sunday, November 10, 3PM at the Jamestown Senior Center and the audience showed up!
The chorus and the audience sang with gusto and over $300.00 was raised to support the local foodbanks to help our neighbors. We were able to donate lots of gift cards from local grocery stores to the food bank.
The concert was based on the theme of “Water.” We sang songs like “Singin’ in the Rain, ” “Shenandoah” and “Shall We Gather at the River” and, of course, silly stuff like “Singin’ in the Bathtub.” Biut we think the folks in the audience really enjoyed “Bridge Over Troubled Water” and Bill Staine’s great song “River.”
