The Everybody Chorus rocked out on Saturday, November 15. Our good friends at the Central Baptist Church, 99 Narragansett Avenue hosted the benefit concert.
Our latest endeavor was based on the director’s collection of 45rpm records. We sang The Boxtops’s “The Letter,” The Beatles’ “Hello Goodbye,” Bob Dylan’s “It Ain’t Me, Babe” as well as a whole bunch of other tunes from the fifties through the early 80’s. We even sang “Poor Little Rhode Island!”
BUT….most importantly, the audience very generously donated over $500.00 to benefit a local food pantry. Our neighbors will be able to benefit from the audience’s generosity. BTW – the AUDIENCE knew how to rock it as well!!
