The Everybody Chorus began rehearsals on Saturday, January 21 for a St. Patrick’s Day program in March. Lots of folks showed up to sing and it was great to see some new faces among the throng! Of course, the veterans were there, too.:)
The EChorus is open to EVERYBODY! No auditions, just fun.
We expect all of our singers to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and masks are welcomed (not required) in our socially-distanced rehearsals. The chorus will prepare a program for St. Patrick’s Day including traditional and popular Irish tunes such as “Fiddler’s Green,” “She Moved Through the Fair” and “Tippin’ It Up to Nancy.”
You can check out examples of the songs on YouTube. The links page is: https://jamestownchorus.com/everybody-chorus/everybody-chorus-music/
We meet on Saturday mornings from 9:30AM until 10:30AM at the Jamestown Recreation Center, 41 Conanicus Avenue on the East Ferry waterfront. There is a modest fee for music ($2.00) and please bring along your good humor! The EChorus will choose a local non-profit to support through our free-will donations at the concert in March.
