America at 250! May 2 and 3!!

The chorus is hard at work on a program of American music in recognition of our 250th anniversary! We’ll sing songs of the Revolution such as “Free America” and “Johnny Has Gone for a Soldier” as well as music representative of the passing years. You’ll hear “Just Before the Battle, Mother” and “It’s Only Make Believe” as well as songs by George M. Cohan, Phil Ochs and Rodgers and Hammerstein.

The concerts will be at the Jamestown Recreation Center on Saturday, May 2 t 4PM and Sunday, May 3 at 3PN. Tickets are $15.00 and will be available at the door or right on this site – https://jamestownchorus.com/tickets/
