“250 Years of American Music” – Thank YOU!

The chorus presented its latest program to two very appreciative audiences thus weekend. The chorus would like to thank everyone who attended the concerts as well as the advertisers in our concert program. We received many compliments about the program and the quality of singing.

We sang songs of the Revolution such as “Free America” and “Johnny Has Gone for a Soldier” as well as music representative of the passing years. There was “Gentle Annie” by Stephen Foster and “It’s Only Make Believe” from “Showboat” as well as songs by George M. Cohan, Phil Ochs and a wonderful arrangement of “Oklahoma” by Rodgers and Hammerstein.

We’ll be taking a break until our Talent Show in August but we want the community to know that we appreciate their support!! Thank you!!
