The Jamestown Community Chorus Has Begun Rehearsals for the December Concerts

The JCC has begun rehearsals for the December program. The program will be made of, mostly, music written in the 21st Century along with a few folk tunes from the last century (or two….) Gordon Lightfoot, Sara Bareilles and Peter, Paul and Mary tunes will be part of the program and with modern composers Ola Gjeillo, Martin Asander and Nicholas White. We’ll feature female composers as well such as Libby Larsen, Ms. Bareilles, Lisa Loeb and Vicki Tucker Courtney.

The chorus rehearses on Monday evenings at the Central Baptist Church. The chorus is secular and everyone is invited to check us out. Rehearsals begin at 7PM and finish at 9PM.

You can practice your part on the “Rehearsal Recordings Page” by clicking on the “For Members” page. All of the voice parts are ready to use.

You can see the type of music we have sung on the “Past Musical Programs” page of this website.
